Véronique paint in an abstract style but join to that frequently figurative elements. Generally she works with much colour. She paints kindest with oil painting on a painting.
The designs of its paintings are several. She frequently has a period in which she was inspired by a certain animal or by an event, as a result of that she makes certain serial paintings. Thus among other things the serial "giraffes" and the serial "nudes" are of it an example. At the serial "giraffes" she was inspired by a meeting with a giraffe who after having licked off her car of all sides, cogs in the roof.
The serial "nudes" has been sometimes inspired on emotions such as loneliness and desire. The women on doek show generally a turned away face. Véronique work also regular in task; on request she proves firstly knowledge with the wish.
